The Case for Cosmopolitanism

I first encountered philosopher Kwame Anthony Appiah in Astra Taylor’s film “Examined Life”.  In this interview with Al Jazeera, he expounds on the notion of cosmopolitanism.  I think his ideas on what it means to be a citizen of the world are refreshing, and I sincerely appreciate his approach to dialogue with others: conversing in respect with no agenda.
